ABDISA: Another Beautiful Day in San Antonio
The goal of ABDISA is to address the cultural and linguistic loss that affects Yucatec Maya communities through organizing activities and creating participatory projects that promote history, language, food, cultural games, artisanal crafts and other aspects of life in the village of Oxmul Kah, also known as San Antonio, in Cayo District, Belize. We work to positively impact our village and to promote the Yucatec Maya identity and community sentiments. Find info on projects, educational opportunities, village life past and present and events including the annual Another Beautiful Day in San Antonio festival.
